[Trailer] ‘Justice League’ Revives the Age of Heroes

SDCC 2017 keeps on trucking along. Here we have for you the latest trailer for Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment’s Justice League. Unveiled earlier today at the Comic-Con, this preview shows off brand new footage from the latest installment in the DC Extended Universe. Check out what director Zack Snyder has in store for you this fall as superheroes Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Superman (Henry Cavill), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) unite to save Earth from an intergalactic threat…

I’ve got to hand it to them, they are really selling the scope on this one. In addition to more Parademon carnage and a few glimpses of the villainous Steppenwolf, we are gifted with some footage of both Themyscira and Atlantis. Themyscira in particular looks to be in a spot of trouble. The core five team members in the film all seem to have good chemistry with one another and the action is pretty dynamic. My reservations about last year’s two DCEU entries aside, I like what I am seeing here. Wonder Woman turned out to be a great superhero movie and I would love nothing more for this to do the same.

Justice League is the fifth film in Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment’s on-going DC Extended Universe. Zack Snyder returns to direct, from a script by Chris Terrio. Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Geoff Johns, and Jon Berg produce. Justice League stars Ben Affleck as ‘Batman’, Henry Cavill as ‘Superman’, Gal Gadot as ‘Wonder Woman’, Ezra Miller as ‘The Flash’, Jason Momoa as ‘Aquaman‘, Ray Fisher as ‘Cyborg’, Ciaran Hinds as ‘Steppenwolf’, Amy Adams as ‘Lois Lane’, Willem Dafoe as ‘Nuidis Vulko’, Amber Heard as ‘Mera’, Jesse Eisenberg as ‘Lex Luthor’, Jeremy Irons as ‘Alfred Pennyworth’, Diane Lane as ‘Martha Kent’, Connie Nielsen as ‘Queen Hippolyta’, J.K. Simmons as ‘Commissioner Gordon’, Billy Crudup as ‘Dr. Henry Allen’, Kiersey Clemons as ‘Iris West’, and Julian Lewis Jones.

Justice League arrives in theaters on November 17th, 2017.
