See The Origins Of ‘Wonder Woman’ In This New Trailer

The World War I-set Wonder Woman movie is only a few months away from release. This weekend, Warner Bros. has released a brand new trailer for the superhero picture and it’s another great one. Outside of a chunk of moments detailing the titular character’s childhood training, not much new is shown here. One the one hand, that means we’ll all be rolling into the film relatively unspoiled. On the other, it does make one wonder if the rumors of the project being a bit of a mess are true. Regardless, so far this film looks great and nothing present in this trailer discourages me from that thought…

Wonder Woman is the fourth film in the DC Extended Universe. It is directed by Patty Jenkins, from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns. The picture is produced by Charles Roven, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, and Richard Suckle. It stars Gal Gadot as ‘Diana Prince (aka Wonder Woman)’, Chris Pine as ‘Steve Trevor’, Lucy Davis as ‘Etta Candy’, Connie Nielsen as ‘Queen Hippolyta’, Robin Wright as ‘General Antiope’, David Thewlis as ‘Sir Patrick Morgan’, Danny Huston as ‘General Erich Ludendorff’, Elena Anaya as ‘Maru (aka Doctor Poison)’, Said Taghmaoui as ‘Sameer’, Ewen Bremner as ‘Charlie’, Eugene Brack Rock as ‘Chief’, Lisa Loven Kongsli as ‘Menalippe’, Mayling Ng as ‘Orana’, Florence Kasumba as ‘Senator Acantha’, Madeleine Vall as ‘Egeria’, and Samanta Jo as ‘Euboea’.

Wonder Woman arrives in theaters on June 2nd, 2017.
