The CW has cast three additional roles for their “Riverdale” pilot. Based on the popular revival of “Archie Comics“, the live action series will be produced by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Jon Goldwater. Should it go to series, it is expected to arrive on the network this fall for the coming 2016/2017 season.
Daniel Yang has been cast as ‘Dilton Doiley‘, the “smartest kid in town”. Cody Kearlsey will be portraying ‘Moose Mason‘, Riverdale High’s “biggest jock”. Lastly, Ross Butler will be bringing to life Archie Andrews’ arch-foe, ‘Reggie Mantle‘. Kudos to The Wrap for the reveal.
The three actors join a cast already comprised of the likes of KJ Apa as ‘Archie Andrews’, Lili Reinhart as ‘Betty Cooper’, Cole Sprouse as ‘Jughead Jones’, Camila Mendes as ‘Veronica Lodge’, Madelaine Petsch as ‘Cheryl Blossom’, Ashleigh Murray as ‘Josie’, Madchen Amick as ‘Alice Cooper’, Marisol Nichols as ‘Hermione Lodge’, and Luke Perry as ‘Fred Andrews’.
