It’s Spider-Man In the New ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Trailer!

SPIDER-MAN CAPTAIN AMERICAN CIVI WAR

The conflict ignites in a brand-new trailer for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, hitting theaters May 6.

The biggest surprise, though, is that Marvel has already decided to reveal the new Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland. The button on the trailer is Spidey snatching Cap’s shield with his webbing and introducing himself as the camera pushes in, “Hey, everyone…”

Captain America: Civil War is the first film of Marvel’s Phase Three and the thirteenth film overall in their ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It is directed by The Russo Bros, who previously tackled the awesome Captain America: The Winter Soldier and will be helming both halves of Avengers: Infinity War.

And while we’ll see Spider-Man appear in this epic battle, he gets his own standalone reboot on July 7, 2017.

What do you guys think of the costume? The most important thing for me is that Anthony and Joe Russo are behind his first appearance. I think their Winter Soldier is easily one of the best superhero movies ever made. I like that they bring the characters into a more realistic and believable world than something along the lines of the upcoming Batman V. Superman. The trailer is booming with badass and really makes some bold promises. I wanna see death, destruction and have fun all the while. What say you?

In Civil War, “When the government sets up a governing body to oversee the Avengers, the team splinters into two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, William Hurt, Chadwick Boseman, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, Frank Grillo, Daniel Bruhl, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Tom Holland, and many others!

In addition to the trailer, here’s a brand new poster and official images, all courtesy of Marvel and Disney.

I’m confused as to how Mr. Disgusting thinks BvS is a less realistic version of how things would go down compared to the Marvel movies. However, while I’ll always be partial to DC I have to say that the Captain America movies are easily the best movies Marvel has released to date with just a couple other titles coming in a close second. Huge kudos to Chris Evans for really doing such a great job with that character. Cap is pretty much the only one I’m spending money on tickets for.
