New Empire Suicide Squad Character Covers

A few days ago we brought you the latest round of Joker photos, courtesy of a spread for Suicide Squad within the pages of Empire magazine.  It seems that Empire has gone whole hog and issued covers for other characters from the DC Cinematic Universe film as well!  Will we get that coveted “Jai Courtney IS Captain Boomerang” cover?  Only time will tell.  As it stands, there are four new covers below to be ogled.  One is, of course, another Joker piece, but the others reveal a better look at Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Enchantress.  Check them out!

Based on the DC Comics property of the same name, Suicide Squad is written and directed by David Ayer (Sabotage, Fury) and is slated to hit theaters on August 5th, 2016.  The film centers on a ragtag team of villains who are brought together to stop a greater threat.  Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as ‘Deadshot’, Jared Leto as ‘The Joker’, Margot Robbie as ‘Harley Quinn’, Cara Delevingne as ‘Enchantress’, Viola Davis as ‘Amanda Waller’, Joel Kinnaman as ‘Rick Flag’, Jai Courtney as ‘Captain Boomerang’, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as ‘Killer Croc’, Karen Fukuhara as ‘Katana’, Jay Hernandez as ‘El Diablo’, Adam Beach as ‘Slipknot’, Common as ‘The Tattooed Man’, and Ike Barinholtz as ‘Dr. Hugo Strange’.  Jim Parrack, David Harbour, Scott Eastwood, Alex Meraz, Corina Calderon, and Raymond Olubowale also star.
