Netflix Grants New Look At ‘Jessica Jones’ Cast

As we approach the November 20th premiere of the first season of Marvel’s “Jessica Jones” on Netflix, we are finally getting a better look at the series and its characters.  Not long ago, the streaming service released a teaser trailer for the show, which worked more as a tone piece than a trailer and could very well be a version of the series’ opening credits.  Now we have been granted a handful of new production stills centering on some of the shows characters.

They have also issued a new press release containing details about the series…

After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City.

Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) is joined by an amazing cast including David Tennant (Kilgrave), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval, among others.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (“Twilight”, “Dexter”) and Liz Friedman (“Elementary”), along with Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Smallville,” “Heroes”), who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.

Not included in the cast above are the character names for Moss, Darville, and Moriarty, which are Harper, Malcolm, and Hope, respectively.  Also not divulged is the presence of Rosario Dawson, who will be reprising her role of Claire Temple from “Daredevil“.
