What’s the one constant that’s made the previous two X-Men films classics? Stars Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, who star as Magneto and Professor X, respectively.
The duo first made their appearance in X-Men: First Class and Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
And while X-Men: Apocalypse will be Singer’s final X-Men film, both Fassbender and McAvoy will be returning for more, we can confirm. Out sources tell us they’re locked in for another three X-Men films, although we’re working on confirming.
This is exciting because Apocalypse sets the stage for the long-gestured X-Force film, which would be a great way to inject fresh mutants into the X world. More importantly, it would pit Apocalypse against Cable.
It’ll also be exciting to see the two take on Daredevil when Fox pits the two franchises against one another. Again, here’s where the X-Force would perfectly fit into the story arc…
And then there’s Gambit, which will star Channing Tatum as the title character. Could this be another X-Men film that would tie the universe all together?
There’s a lot to speculate, but one thing is certain, this franchise is growing to biblical proportions – and Fassbender and McAvoy are along for the ride!
