The second full-length trailer for Fantastic Four has arrived and it dives into the childhood of team leader Reed Richards as well as tackling the moral and ethical dilemmas of using the team as weapons. Tack on some large scale destruction and a ton of CGI and you’ve got your standard modern day super hero trailer.
Overall, I’m still not impressed by this film and I have a sinking feeling that it’s not going to do nearly as well as other Marvel properties. The shame here is that these films could have some incredibly cool moments of a team working together. However, it seems that they only come together during the final fight, when all hope seems lost. Hell, they even give that away in this trailer!
These are just my thoughts and they come from someone who truthfully doesn’t know the property all that well. I’m sure Daniel has a lot more to say about the topic!
