As Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” enters its third season this fall on ABC, it will be adding a few new characters. In addition to inhuman Lincoln Campbell (Luke Mitchell) being upgraded to series regular status, the show will be introducing another Inhuman character: Lash. He is described as an inhuman with “energy based powers”.
Doing a bit of digging, it sounds like his powers are similar to “X-Men” character Bishop, who can absorb energy and channel it right back as a weapon. Lash debuted in the source material last year and is an antagonist for the Inhuman Royal Family, so I imagine he will be presented as a villain for our heroes to tangle with in Season Three. There’s no word on who might be cast in the role at this time.
“Agents of SHIELD” returns to ABC this fall. The hit Marvel series stars Clark Gregg as ‘Phil Coulson’, Ming Na-Wen as ‘Melinda May’, Brett Dalton as ‘Grant Ward’, Chloe Bennett as ‘Daisy “Skye” Johnson/Quake’, Iain De Caestecker as ‘Leo Fitz’, Elizabeth Henstridge as ‘Jemma Simmons’, Nick Blood as ‘Lance Hunter’, Adrianne Palicki as ‘Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird’, Luke Mitchell as ‘Lincoln Campbell’, and Henry Simmons as ‘Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie’.
