‘Suicide Squad’ Gets A New Logo

Welp, it’s nearly 4am EST and we still don’t have the Comic Con trailer for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, which apparently caused quite the stir at the convention! What we do have, however, is a new logo for the film, which you can see below. Made of big, blocky letters (with a ‘Q’ that looks like something out of a Mushroomhead font), the logo is impassive, dirty, scratched, and askew, much like the team itself.

Also, make sure to check out the SDCC panel right here.

Suicide Squad is slated to hit theaters on August 5, 2016. Written and directed by David Ayer, the film stars Will Smith as ‘Floyd Lawton/Deadshot’, Jared Leto as ‘The Joker’, Margot Robbie as ‘Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn’, Joel Kinnaman as ‘Rick Flag’, Jai Courtney as ‘Digger Harkness/Captain Boomerang’, Viola Davis as ‘Amanda Waller’, Cara Delevingne as ‘June Moone/Enchantress’, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as ‘Waylon Jones/Killer Croc’, Karen Fukuhara as ‘Tatsu Yamashiro/Katana’, Jay Hernadez as ‘Chato Santana/El Diablo’, Adam Beach as ‘Christopher Weiss/Slipknot’, Common as ‘The Tattooed Man’, and Ike Barinholtz as ‘Dr. Hugo Strange’. Also starring are Jim Parrack, Scott Eastwood, Alex Meraz, David Harbour, and Raymond Olubowale.
